Welcome Home

Shandon United Methodist Church

You're Invited!

We meet every Sunday, both in person and online, and we’d love to get to know you. There’s something special about gathering for in-person worship—seeing familiar faces, sharing smiles, and enjoying meaningful conversations. But we understand that isn’t always possible. When you’re unable to join us at Shandon, we hope you’ll worship with us online.

Traditional Services

Sundays at 8:45 & 11:00 a.m.
In-Person and Online at 11:00 a.m.

Contemporary Service

Sundays at 11:05 a.m.
In-Person and Online

Food Assistance Resources

SNAP, or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, is the country's largest nutrition assistance program, accounting for 70 percent of USDA nutrition spending in 2024. The South Carolina Department of Social Services reports that more than 556,000 South Carolinians—roughly 266,000 households—received SNAP benefits last month. They also report that the funding halt could affect around 900 food banks and pantries in South Carolina.

Click the button below for a list of resources for those personally affected by the changes in SNAP benefits, as well as ways everyone can love and help their neighbors in need. As information on SNAP benefits continues to change, please check for updates as you search for food and ways to help.
